1. Data Collection
Tfare collects personal information necessary to deliver transportation hailing and payment processing services. This includes name, phone number, email address, geolocation coordinates (essential for passenger pickup matching), bank payout verification details (for drivers), and document uploads.
2. Geospatial Live Location
To provide accurate ETAs, spatial queue routing, and emergency SOS alerts, the Rider and Driver mobile applications collect geographic coordinate telemetry. Driver apps track background coordinates to maintain signal presence when active.
3. Information Sharing
Tfare does not sell or distribute user information to external third parties. We share location coordinates between matched riders and drivers during active trips, and securely transmit payment verification details to our certified payment processor, Paystack.
4. Telemetry Retention & Security
We store audit records, transactional ledger transactions, and webhook logs on secure, database-encrypted servers. Row Level Security (RLS) is strictly enforced to isolate user records and prevent unauthorized database reads.
